On a $35.00 sale at the official 6% rate, TikTok's referral fee is $2.10 — but after the calculator's default creator commission (10%), ad spend (8.57%) and example product + shipping costs, you keep $13.40 (38.3%). Run your own numbers:
FBT fees vary by size and weight — if you use the FBT preset below it fills in $3.00 as an example; replace it with your own rate-card figure. Refund administration fee is auto-estimated at 20% of the referral fee on returned items, capped at $5 per SKU (US rule). Returned items are assumed resellable.

The referral fee on common order values, at both rates US sellers talk about. Static table — the same math the calculator above runs.
| Order value | Fee at 6% (official) | Fee at 8% (reported) | You keep after referral fee only |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10.00 | $0.60 | $0.80 | $9.40 |
| $25.00 | $1.50 | $2.00 | $23.50 |
| $50.00 | $3.00 | $4.00 | $47.00 |
| $100.00 | $6.00 | $8.00 | $94.00 |
| $500.00 | $30.00 | $40.00 | $470.00 |
"You keep" is before creator commission, ads, product and shipping costs — the referral fee is only the first slice. Run the full stack in the calculator above.

Export your settlement report from Seller Center and drop the CSV here. We compute the actual referral rate on every line and flag lines that don't match your category's expected rate. Other sites sell this as a $21 spreadsheet — here it is free, in your browser, and your file is never uploaded anywhere.
What a flagged line looks like (from the built-in demo data — hit "Try with demo data" and you will see 12 lines checked, 3 flagged, $1.45 in estimated overcharges):
| Order | Fee base | Fee charged | Actual rate | Expected | Overpaid |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9001 | $29.99 | $1.80 | 6.00% | 6.0% | $0.00 |
| 9003 | $19.99 | $1.60 | 8.00% | 6.0% | $0.40 |
Expected CSV columns: an ID, the fee base (item price the fee was charged on) and the referral fee charged. Headers are detected automatically (base/price/amount, referral/commission fee). Tolerance: lines within 0.3 points of expected are treated as rounding.
One line per SKU: name, price, product cost, shipping. Uses the referral rate, creator commission and ad % from the calculator above. Losing SKUs surface first.

EUUS: the published referral table lists 6% for most categories (5% for fine jewelry and pre-owned), with a 3% promotional rate for eligible new sellers in their first 30 days. Multiple seller sources report an effective 8% from August 2026 — this page models both, side by side, instead of guessing. UK and EU standard referral is 9%. On refunded orders TikTok charges a refund administration fee of 20% of the referral fee, capped at $5 per SKU. Creator commissions are set by you and stack on top — which is why a "$29.99 product" can quietly lose 20-45% before product cost.
The platform's cut on every order, modeled in this calculator on the item price. Official US table: 6% for most categories, 5% for fine jewelry and pre-owned, 3% for eligible new sellers in their first 30 days. UK/EU standard: 9%.
Set by you when you open a product to affiliates — and it stacks on top of the referral fee. The percentage in the calculator is an example input, not a platform rate: at 20% commission, a 6% referral fee becomes a 26% platform-side take before ads.
On refunded orders (US rule), TikTok keeps 20% of the referral fee, capped at $5 per SKU — you do not get the whole referral fee back. The calculator models it as an expected cost using your return rate.
If you use Fulfilled by TikTok, a per-unit fulfillment fee applies instead of your own shipping cost. Fees vary by size and weight — enter your own rate-card figure in the calculator; never price on the referral fee alone.
No. The referral fee is only the first slice. Creator commissions (set by you), ad spend, product cost, shipping and — on refunded orders — the refund administration fee all come out of the same sale. In the calculator's default example, a $35.00 sale pays $2.10 in referral fees but gives up $21.60 in total before you see the $13.40 that's left.
Straight answer: TikTok's published US table still listed 6% when we last verified it on October 30, 2026, and no official table we can check says 8%. At the same time, many sellers report an effective 8% on their settlement lines since August 2026. Both can be true at once — the table is the policy, the settlement line is what you were charged. FeeFact models both side by side instead of picking one, and the settlement checker above will tell you which rate your own account is actually paying.
FeeFact's calculator models the referral fee on the item price, which is how the fee base appears on most settlement exports. Your own export settles the question for your account: the checker recomputes rate = fee ÷ fee base on every line, so whatever base TikTok used on your lines is exactly what gets tested against your expected rate.
Not in full. Under the US rule, TikTok keeps a refund administration fee of 20% of the referral fee, capped at $5 per SKU, on refunded orders. The calculator spreads this across your orders using your return rate, so a high-return category sees the cost before it surprises you.
Eligible new US sellers get a promotional 3% referral rate for their first 30 days; after that, the standard rate for your category applies. The EU runs a similar promo at 4% for the first 60 days against its 9% standard. Use the "New seller · 3% promo" preset above to see what the promo window is worth at your volume.
Run your settlement CSV through the checker on this page. It flags every line charged above your expected rate and totals the estimated overcharge. If lines are flagged, download the summary and open a Seller Center ticket with the math attached — sellers do get these corrected when the numbers are documented.
No account, no signup, and nothing is uploaded. The calculator, the settlement checker and the batch tool all run in your browser; your CSV is read locally on your device and never leaves it.
Every rate on this page was verified by hand on October 30, 2026, against TikTok's published fee tables and seller reports. We re-verify monthly and record every change in the fee change log — if a rate moves, it shows up there first.
